it is easy to ship a car, costs ~300-1000 depending on open/closed transport and where you live

That's correct. Clean title, not BAR'd.
I don't drive the car so never got around to BAR'ing it. I only drive the car around the neighborhood every ~3 months and change the oil every ~6 months to keep everything fresh and in proper running order.
