if it's for a track car, ask the rr/autox forum. someone was asking about running a spool for road racing one time, not sure if they did it or not.

are you using this for drag or road racing? just remember if an axle breaks the car is going to take a hard turn.

A very hard turn. Like "Oh ****!" or more.

Wears out tires, handles worse than an LSD. It's the ghetto-ist you can do. And I don't want the weld breaking up sending bits of **** into the transmission I just rebuilt.

Get an LSD

I have a welded diff in my dc2 road car, it was great for handling better than a lsd and launches but it would lock the 2 front wheels up solid if you let off the gas in a corner,

A welded diff will not handle better than an LSD.

A welded diff or LSD usually won't improve your times at the strip if the car is setup properly with a decent driver, LSD is mainly a reliability mod.
