What are the pro's and con's to having a welded diff and is it legal in and actuall NHRA or IDRC event?

same as a spool, i think its legal not sure, its basically an LSD that wont turn off no matter what. think would be more beneficial to actually just get a spool. oh man just dont brake 1 axle...

In most racing series it is illegal to weld the diff.

thanks guys i just wanted to know cause turning with that things a bitch and im sure officials would be ticket if you took a little to long to get where you need to be.
