Default Which VSS to use

Just swap in a JDM 98+ spec ITR trans. It did not come with a VSS. The VSS from my old trans has a fat gear compared to the ITR, which is about have its size. I looked up on a few part web sites and they seem to show a fat gear for the USDM ITR VSS. Anyone have experience in getting a correct one? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can just use the VSS from a GSR/B16 trans/USDM ITR/LS. Heck, I even used the cable VSS from a CRX inside a JDM 98+ ITR 4.7 FD trans.

I tried my B16 VSS and it didnt seem to wanna drop all the way down. It was held up what seemed to be the thickness difference in the gears.
