Default Transmission Problems

I have a 05 type s and I was wondering if its a transmission issue I have. Everytime its in any gear and while driving there's a knocking sound and when I go faster the noise speeds up. I changed both cv axles already and still same problem. What's better to buy a LSD transmission or rebuild the stock one and add LSD? Thanks.

It could just be a rock stuck in your tire, but it's probably a broken tooth on the ring gear. You should open the trans to inspect everything and add a LSD while you are having it repaired.
