I have two motors at home a d15b7 and d16z6. the z6 transmission case had a hole in it so i decided to swap the gears from the z6 to the b7 transmission. Test drove the car and it drive fines on accelerating however when i decelerate the gears will grind. Anyone that works on transmissions know the cause of this? I need help asap...this is my daily.

the bearing looked cool. the way that i can explain the noise is that lets say your motor is on in nuetral. Then you try to push the shift **** into gear if you push hard enough it will grind. Well this is the noise it makes when the car yanks, which it always yanks a little on deceleration. so Im think maybe the gears a mis-alllinged or maybe i messed up something with the shift linkage but then again every gear goes in smoothly.
