So heres the story, my cars Transmission and Clutch are "Shot" according to the mechanic that my family setup for me (they're paying), and we already knew the Clutch was out, but we didnt know the transmission was done (probably isnt but w/e) We knew it had atleast a loose bearing, so stuff we already knew basically. But before hand we had boughten an LS Transmission for a 92 integra to replace our Y1 , but the mechanic says it'd cost a bunch more to make sure the transmission is good, cause in his 30years of working on cars he feels it has been messed with from the appearance of it, and isnt willing to waste their money nor his reputation. So basically my uncle wants me to get a used transmission that hes willing to buy, or we have to come up with our own plan (Put that tranny in it & get an Exedy stage 2 clutch! lol)

Basically i was wondering if anyone has a good transmission for a B16A that i could get from them, and/or do they know the best place to get one at? I am planning on boosting it eventually so thats why we went with the LS? Idk just open for opinions thanks
