Default Trans help

First off i just had the trans redone i did gsr 1-4 with a LS 5th with a quaife. Got everything back together a filled the trans with honda MTF and after about 50 miles i noticed when going into 2nd it would grind badly. I had all new carbon coated synchros put in with the rebuild. I checked the clutch pedal adjustment and also checked the trans fluid.. kinda lost as to what to do next. Also sometimes when i put the car in neutral the clutch will sometimes stay engaged and the car will want to move. Any ideas honda-tech Thanks

Ditto. Not the synchros as if they were installed dry you would have known right away.

When a trans is rebuilt properly, the clean gear cones need to be oiled so the synchros can move, othewise the synchro will more than likely bind on the gear cone.

yup, if the car is still moving with pedal fully depressed- clutch is not fully disengaged, which will definitely cause a shifting/grinding issue.

Double check hydraulics, clutch release,etc...then may need to drop trans.

Did you lube the friction disc splines?
