torque steer w/ mfactory diff help!!
car drove fine with b16 and open diff. sent the tranny off to gear speed got mfactory diff. put my new ls vtec in with the tranny i did a self alignment cuz i put new tie rods on. i didnt have a problem really. got it aligned and it rides straight with no load. put it in gear and put ur foot in it and it pulls to the left. it only pulls to the left when throttle is applied. if u let off it corrects its self and goes straight. i have changed:
axles
tires
double checked suspension bolts
i filled the motor mounts solid with liquid urethan
idk what else to do beside the diff. i had this problem with the car before but it was an axle that didnt pop back in the cv joint new axle fixed it. the alignment i got i found my tire went flat later that night so would a low tire throw the alignment off?
thanks for any help.

o about that, i did the self alignment just to get the car to the alignment shop. it was fine till after the alignment was done but the alignment sheet shows every thing to spec. when i first bought the car i swap the motor had issues with the pullin so i had it aligned. nothin so i got new axles and the problem stopped. it seems like the same problem but i changed axle and nothin helped. both times the car drove fine until i an alignment, then it pulled.
the axles i changed out were old ones i had laying around the shop. so im gonna warranty out the axles and try new ones.

Alignment would cause a pull at all times, unless you have a severely defective bushing, that is throwing off caster/camber on throttle.
Remember, toe will not cause a pull- it's a tire wearing angle....camber and caster will cause a pull. Toe can cause the car to wander if the specs are that far out of wack, but I doubt that's the case.
Check your brake calipers and sliders, make sure you don't have a sticky one....I haven't seen any issues like this with any helical diff first hand

i called gearspeed today and asked about the diff. noise it should make or shouldnt make. David suggested a few supension parts i should double and triple check.
i dont know what OEM spec's are but vw's vr's like 1/8th in toe out and -1.5 camber and it kills all the torque steer with a diff. and vr's have torque, so its proven
