Are these still usable?
I have two gear sets and matching final drives laying around, first is from a 90 civic si, the other is from a 95 integra GSR. the si was my transmission, the gsr was my buddies, we both blew our diffs, i swapped in an lx trans and he swapped in another gsr trans.
any ways my question is this: based on the damage seen below, are the gear sets usable still?
90 si final drive, ring gear is fine but main shaft has a chip in one of the teeth:

95 gsr, has a grove worn into the side of the ring gear:

may i ask why not? am i going to come across a balance issue on the ring gear? am i going to risk stripping the counter shaft out if i were to use it?
once cracked, more will crack.
Si FD, worth $50. The rest of the gearstack may be usable, subject to inspection
GSR, FD is toast, pull the speedo ring gear and just the diff and pinion, the rest may be usable, but as with most B's, not likely.

ya the dif is shot all the spider gears took a vacation and the pin sheared off. the gear stack appears to be in good condition, i know it'll need a new 3rd gear syncro at minimum though.
thanks for the imput
