shift linkage

Default shift linkage

okay i own a 96 civic hatch with a b16a2 from a 99 si and i have a question.
my shift link bar on the back side of my tranz fell off and was on the ground. i looked at it and it looked like it was only missing a bolt... its just a rod with round pease at the end that you put the bolt through right? i ask crown honda to order this bolt and they gave me one that was 8/45 witch was not the right one im guessing!!!!!!!!! because i tryed to put it in and it put a hole in my tranz casing someone please help. i need to know if this is right so i can take them to court. i am open to everything at this point throw em my way

1. Learn to use correct punctuation and spelling.
2. You can't take them to court for ordering the wrong part, especially when you have no idea what you are talking about.
3. You need a spring pin...aka, "bitch pin" as some refer to it.

You don't need a bolt....you need a spring pin for the linkage. What else do you want me to do? Fly over there and install it for you?

Okay man your talking about the rod that actualy moves the gears.i'm talking about the other rod that has the round end. now maybe you can help me now that you k now what im talking about. also no need to be an *** just because i dont know much about this ****.

The B series uses a 8x18 bolt. Your stock D series uses a 8x45 bolt. #27 is what you need, #28 is what you got.

Okay thank you, now dose #15 go on the end of #13? If so i don't see how.

Okay from what EVS said the B series uses a 8x18 bolt. Your stock D series uses a 8x45 bolt. all i know is i need to get #13 back on the tranz and i dont see any room for #15. I'm not sure what to do here it looks like you just push it on to the tranz and then put bolt # 27.

there is no 15 on the trans. b-series has a cylinder that sticks out near the clutch cover plate, and the linkage slips over that cylinder. that pix doesn't show the trans, if you look at the attachment, its between #3 and the axle seal
