Have a all motor build going on, needed opinions would a oem type r lsd trans differential hold or should I just upgrade my b16 trans with a mfactory diff?

MFactory helical. The OEM helical LSD is rather easy to break and they wear much more quickly than the MFactory. I would also add in the MFactory 3.07 1st and MFactory 4.923 or 5.167 FD depending on power, tire size, and rev limit.

Mfactory here. 800+hp street/track no issues.

I have used oem itr helical in several 400-500 whp turbo setups without failure and I've not seen or heard of any failures under all motor power. Other oem gsr or b16 diffs are a waste of time.

I've installed several mfactory diffs and they were great quality, also no complaints or failures seen.

That being said My opinion is either of these helical units will serve you fine. Although you did not state the purpose of the vehicle/driving type.
