My integra keeps breaking axles
98 Integra LS, b18c5 with gsr gearbox. engine and gearbox completely stock. car is lowered 1.5 - 2 inches, 16 x 8 + 20 wheels with 225/50's. I daily drive this car, i do not race, i do not do burnouts. I do not launch it.
No front end damage, car has -1 camber and 5mm spacers.
The original axles started clicking about a month of daily driving after installing the type r engine. So my mechanic got me cheap aftermarket axles, they also started clicking within a month. Got those refunded and bought remans from another mechanic, those started clicking in a month. Got OEM DC2R axles from a friend's wreck (boots were immaculate), they also started clicking in a month. Finally bought a set of hasport axles and put those in, they started clicking within a little over a month. All started clicking only on hard turns and some gradually got worse and clicked when going straight before i could swap new ones in.
This car is going to run me dry if i have to keep replacing axles every month. please do not tell me i just had a bad set of axles...
As you may be able to tell this is really frustrating, so sorry for posting again so soon after the last.
If you have any idea of what could be causing this, please let me know. Any and all advice is very much appreciated.
If someone here is able to cure my car of this curse i will be indebted to you.
