LSD problem ...
did it sound like this >>>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tSLVoGbeuk
I swapped a sir II withi a lsd transmission yesterday and my question is : the tranny has an aftermarket lsd, is it possible that the lsd is engaging when i am turning slowly and make a sound like clak clak clak and we feel like if the wheel where blocking ... The person who installed me the engine tells me that it is because the lsd might be very agressive, is it that ? I just want a confirmation !
What can be the cause if it's not that ? (he changed the axle (cardan) twice so it's not the problem i t I don't think it's the ''cardan'' ( I am not sure if it's the right name in english) because it do that only a slow speed and even if i turn right or left.
UPDATE, we are thinking that it might be the fault of the oil in the transmission, it's cheap 10w30 in it ... can it be that ?
And by the way, may it be dangerous in the winter ? Thanks a lot everyone
