lsd differential clearence problems

Default lsd differential clearence problems

ive got a 1998 gsr tranny, want to install a jdm stock lsd in , so i ordered some new differential ball bearings from Honda( part number 91005-p80-e31), put them on the b16 lsd and now i drop it in the tranny and close it up to check for clearence but the cassing dont seem to want to close completly like if the bearings were not pressed in ok or if the bearings are a tadd to thick...... anyone got a anwser for me please??

did i need b16 diff bearings?? the old ones on the lsd looked noisy but i had good clearence with them when i put it in my gsr tranny just too test fit it before changing bearings

Found out gsr. Ballbearings are 1.5mm thicker on the inner race so ill need b16 bearings
