Lsd b16 Tran issue
I bought a lsd Tran and last owner told me it was rebuild so I didn’t mind buying it cause I got it cheap so before I put it on I took it to a shop they charge me 100 to open and check it out and they told me it was all good inside so I put ir on the car and did the new shiftlinkage but I seen the pole that stick out the Tran that shift linkage goes on little bent but I thought it was normal so I didn’t put oil on the Tran yet or started the car or bleed the clutch yet just Incase so I try to move the shifter into gear and it goes in one gear but hard and won’t go into anyone other gear what can be the issue that metal pole cause it’s bent or it won’t go inside gear cause I’m not pushing clutch down Thanxk for anyone help
Ok I didn’t know but when the Tran was out I try to move it with my hand in and out and was super hard and only pop out once out and one in does it support to pop out more then once out and once in or what and do you know what could be the issue I hope nothing big lol or expensive I mite take Tran out and get it reopen to check this weekend
How closely did the shop look when they opened the transmission? Everything can look ok to the casual glance when you just pop the case open, but some issues which can prevent shifting aren't so obvious and could require full disassembly to inspect for. If you aren't confident enough to disassemble and inspect yourself, I'd say count the $100 you spent as a loss and spend an additional sum to have the transmission looked over by a pro who specialized in Honda manual transmissions like Whoopee Doo Racing (wd-r.com) or Tall Pines Racing.
