Leaking Transmission
While replacing my transmission fluid plug, I tightened it too hard. I mean really too hard. I cracked a part of the transmission. The place where it screws into the transmission cracked a piece off. To fix this i used wire and epoxy resin. I then used a tap to retread the area. I got a new bolt. Everything was going fine but after I was done it still leaks. I need some type of seal on the bolt to stop it from leaking. This picture is a picture of the problem
Any ideas on how to get it to stop leaking?
EDIT: Solved, Drilled and threaded a hole inside the original plug bolt for a smaller plug. Then JB welded the solution into place. No leaks since

Re: Leaking Transmission
I can't afford either of those options. I was looking for something like a high temp glue or a rubber seal for the plag

Re: Leaking Transmission
Sorry, but those are really the only 2 that work. You can try JB Weld but I've never had an success with it for this type of fix. Or Hondabond, that stuff will seal just about anything, but it needs to be really clean and dry and should cure overnight.
