help with tranny setup
im planning on building my transmission soon. i have a GSR motor with LS tranny. (the ls tranny is off the car now and im driving on a gsr tranny). correct me if im wrong, i chose the LS tranny cuz its the strongest of all the B series trannies.
my plan is to make it race, but also have low rpms on the highway.
so my plans are to change all the gears.
1st gear: Type R
2nd gear: Type R
3rd gear: Type R
4th gear: Type R
5th gear: LS (for the highway)
could you tell me if thats a good sequence?
suggestions?
Should i put a GSR gear in there somewhere?
Putting on a LSD of course.
Dont really know which is the best, Type R, Quaife, OBX?
suggestions?
cheapest place to buy?
i have a Competition Clutch already. Stage 5 (4 puck). and 8lb flywheel.
haha, i know, excessive. it'll be nice tho.
and i guess axles go hand-in-hand. which axles?
thanks.

The gears you have chosen are good, but we need to know your setup to help you better. If you can get a quaife, those are very dependable and strong. As far as axles go, DSS makes some good stuff, but again your setup is needed.
