so I just swapped a new d16z6 into my girls delsol, reused the original problem free S20 5spd transmission. the only thing that is drifferent from before is the clutch is new as well as the slave and master cylinder. I also installed avid motor mounts because her old mounts were old (only reason really)

any suggestions as too why it is giving me a hard time to get into first and reverse? If I let of the clutch a little bit it will pop into first, but reverse is a pita to get and it grinds like a ****. oil was lost durring the swap, could if be low on trans fluid? I replaced about a quart of honda mtf into the bish and it seemed like that would be good enough.

 

also forgot to mention, there is a b&m short shifter and energy suspension bushings installed on the shifter bars
