I just installed a CC twin disk along with a freshly rebuilt transmission and when I went to push in the clutch to adjust the twin disk I heard a grinding/scraping noise. What could this be?

It does not make noise when it is engaged, it makes that noise when disengaging ( when I push in the clutch ).

I have been doing some reading and this noise seems to be normal but it still concerns me. I also forgot to mention that when I did push the pedal in the car seemed like it wanted to die.
yup thats what i was meaning when you have it pushed in it chatters wich is totally normal. I remember my first time on it I was like wtf, and told my shop what is the deal they were like its normal.
there is also measure to take to ensure your not over throwing the clutch you setup a clutch stop.

Pulled the trans out and inspected everything. It was all put on correctly, so I put it all back together. I guess the noise is normal as people were saying, I just had to make sure I didn't put something on the wrong way.
yeah well i bought em a release bearing then decided to look at the pilot bearing and wow that thing was shot lol. I dont have a clutch aligning tool so im bought one today and waiting for it in the mail lol
I have the same thing going on with my twin disc and was wondering if that was normal. I had it tuned at RLZ and they got 627.2hp and I am sure that Howard would have mentioned something if it weren't normal. I'll bet you are OK.

I have been driving the car and the clutch feels good, just makes a little noise when it is pushed in.
