clutch squeaky noise?
That's basically it, whenever the clutch is engaged it seems I hear a moderately high pitched "squeaky" noise when accelerating. If I depress the clutch, therefore disengaging it, the noise goes away. Even if I'm rolling with the clutch disengaged, or rev, it will not make the noise.
Anyone have any idea what this might be? Also seems to be a slight "raspy" noise when I accelerate, at times. Not the engine, but seems like something else.
It's a B16A2.

Re: clutch squeaky noise?
Squeak is when the clutch is engaged, aka pedal is not pressed down. If I put any sort of pressure on the clutch pedal the SQUEAKING goes away, doesn't matter if I'm revving or not. The subtle raspy noise only happens when in gear and accelerating.

Re: clutch squeaky noise?
sounds like the same thing i had going on with my em1. in my case, the pushrod in the slave was rattling/tinging off of the clutch release fork. i had tried everything from bleeding the system to adjusting the clutch pedal. i think over time, the cap end of the push rod in the slave wears down or the divot in the fork wears some.
