Flywheel weight?..
Hi i m using a B20B vtec... my clutch ( OEM ) almost done... i m going to change a set of new fly wheel and new clutch... and i see many light weight flywheel in the market..
A) 4 to 4.2kgs
B) 3.8 to 4kgs
which one should i use? and what is the problem if use light weight flywheels?...

Depends.. doo you want something.that'll hold a decent amount of inertia so your woman could hop in and drive. Or do you want something that will dedicate every grain of rotational force to accelerating the car?
Of course from the masses given, there isn't much difference. Both are about half the mass of a stock flywheel. Might as well go for 3.8 as stock-like driveability will be thrown to the wind with either.
I'll add this: I daily a 12lb (5.448kg) and wish I had gone lighter now that I've gotten used to it. I'll also add that there are times in traffic I wish I had a millstone as a flywheel, or an automatic transmission.
