what are guys using the get the bad bearing race out after the inside is gone. you can always weld on them or beat the hell out of the to get it out but whats the graceful way of doing it lol.

I just bought a cheap puller ($15) that I think I can use to grab the outer race, but I haven't tried, waiting for a trans with an exploded bearing to show up.

Not really. This is the puller I bought, if the jaws will grab the inner race where the ***** would run it'll work great, if not it's going to be useless. It was on sale for $15 when I bought it though, so at that price it was worth a shot.

no, i have one of those for pulling the isb out and works perfect. but it wont pull the outer race. the fingers broke on my first one using it to pull the outer race off.

 

Put the bearing back together and pull it out, basic.
