Exedy OEM Clutch/PP Issue
Hey guys in need of insight/help asap. I ordered a Exedy OEM replacement kit KHC12 off of Amazon, installed everything properly. Took it for a test drive, couldn't engage into any gears after going into neutral as soon as I hit the stop light. Clutch wasn't disengaging apparently. Took apart the tranny, turns out that the side of the tortional springs near the spline hub is grinding with the pressure plate's diaphragm spring. Did not replace flywheel, this is a 2000 GSR. Did something go wrong with installation? Or is it a defective pressure plate? Need a solution asap considering how it's Sunday evening and I have school monday morning.
Sorry for the bad lighting but as you can see near the tortional springs, the metal has been shaved off along with the center of the diaphragm spring.

Re: Exedy OEM Clutch/PP Issue
That's pretty neat, are you sure all of the parts matched the parts you removed? Im not certain if the slave is capable of moving out far enough to cause physical damaged like that without leaking.
What other modifications did you make to the clutch, did you adjust the pedal? different master? different slave?
