Default cv joints in a b18 swap

hey guys, im doing a b18a1 swap in my 95 honda civic dx. it is our first swap and the only thing we can afford at the moment since my old d16b7 took a dump about a week ago and it was hard enough to come up with the money for this swap. so we have the old engine out and the new one ready to go in. until it came time to put the new transmission on. the tranny goes on fine. but the cv joints wont fit on the new tranny, we are at a stand still until we know what to do about it. we've been told soo many different things from everyone. from that swap is easy to it wont work in your car. i need real, decent advice from someone experienced in b18 swaps into civics. until then we are stuck.

You need Integra axles. Generally speaking most people use '94 - '01 Integra/'99 - '00 Si/'94 - '97 Del Sol VTEC axles and intermediate/half shaft, however you can use '90 - '93 Integra axles as well as long as you use the corresponding intermediate shaft and driver's side axle seal.

What transmission are you using? A '90 - '93 transmission will not work without a hydro to cable conversion kit and custom mounts and even then it sucks. Also, the shift linkage needs to be from a '94 - '01 Integra or '99 - '00 Si.

the tranny is cable. if it requires that much extra work i will give it back to the person i got it from and get a hydro. thank you for your advice

I have a 94 ej1 that had a b18c (sir-g, I think) swapped into it... my cv boots are torn up, and since my ball joints are loose anyway, I thought I'd take care of both issues, and only suffer the damage from one alignment to my wallet. Which cvs do I need? I thought the integra's, but pictures of those make them look identical as a pair, and the two on my car are FAR from identical.
