Default clutch problem

i have a 92 integra ls. i replaced my clutch about 6 months ago and then all of the sudden the clutch got really hard to press down and it was hard to change gears. so i took the tranny out and the fork release spring was broke, i replaced that got it all back together and the pedal is soft and stays on the ground unless i lift it back up and when i tried to start the car in first the car would move like the pedal wasn't even pressed down. i took the tranny back out and the clutch looks to be fine. could it be the cable stretching? i have tried adjusting it all the way in both directions and tightening the cable only makes the clutch not want to disengage worse.
