I need some tranny gods.....I have an SiR JDM B16 cable operated tranny..It currently grinds in third gear and I believe that the bearings are going bad as well....the reason I think that the bearings are going bad is that when I drive the car it sounds like a wheel bearing is going bad...but I checked those out and they are fine....was thinking of rebuilding this myself...just don't know where to get the bearings and synchros....also was wondering if the lsd diff will go in a hydro trany...I was thinking of going to hydro instead but I wanna keep my LSD..thanks

yes the lsd will transfer. check the clearances.

does the noise change when you push the clutch in?

well either way, you're gonna have the case opened so the problem should be obvious if it's inside...

its a loud hum...like a wheel bearing....the faster I go the louder it hums

Id out it on a lift and run it to ensure where you here the noise come from...
