Icon3 cable lsd in to hydro trans?

i recently bought a cable b16 lsd trans and it turned out the gears needed replacement.
a friend of mine has a freshly built b16 hydro trans, but with my setup i need lsd.

so my question is can i put the lsd from the cable trans in the the hydro trans with out any problems?

According to the hybrid forum you can put a hydro diff into cable trans. So why can't you put the cable diff into a hydro trans?

You can, but since you have the OEM B16 LSD, you would have to swap the FD over as well.

Ive done it..oem gsr hydro with an oem cable lsd...you just have to shave down a part of the inside of the casing...

Right that was also mentioned in the thread as well. Will that make a differnece in my gear ratios since the cable b16 trans has slightly shorter gears than the hydro b16?

As far as shaving the casing down, that shouldn't be a problem

Some cable B16's have longer gearing than hydro, none are shorter.

Depends on the ratio.
