Cable to Hydro Transmission
I am planning to swap a b18b into my EG I bought a complete swap off of a friend but what i didn't realize was that it came with a Cable transmission. My car has a hydro set up so is there any way to covert my cable transmission to a hydro one. I would rather not buy a new one because i paid quite a bit for the whole swap because i was thinking the transmission was a hydro one. I know hasport makes a conversion kit but i think its for putting a hydro tranny into a cable car.
Is there any other conversion kit that i could use?
I have also heard that i might be able to take a hydro tranny case and swap the cable internals into it, is this true?
Could I convert my hydro set up to a cable?

A few different companies make them, I don't know that any of them work particularly well.
If it's a YS1 cable transmission ('92 - '93 Integra) then yes you can swap the guts into a hydro case.

^^^ Took the words out of my mouth. The conversions all feel like *******. LOL I'd rather spend the money on the correct trans than buy a conversion AND be potentially unhappy with how it works.
Thanks for you replies. I think im going to look into swapping the internals of my cable transmission into a Hydro ls case. I looked to day and i do have the YS1 transmission so i think it will just swap in. I do have a couple of questions though.
Can I just changes the bell housing?
Do i need to use anything from a hydro tranny to make it work?
