Blown diff??
Hey guys. Recently I was driving my turbo gsr making ~300hp and was trying to diagnose a clicking noise on the passenger side after I put new wheels on. It sounded like something was rubbing on my tire. Stupid me then decided to do a pull/burnout from first to second (I think I was barely rolling backwards when I did) then POP! My car then made violent popping noises when it was rolling to a stop. After that I couldn't drive my car 5 feet without it making that noise and coming to a complete stop on its own. Luckily I was on my street and was able to barely limp it back.. My axel was replaced weeks before and is in good condition but I saw that it was out 1/8th of an inch when it happened. My mechanic who helped me get it back to my house said he thinks it is my differential that went. Before I invest in lsd, I would like to get more opinions of what it could be and if you guys think anything else probably broke besides the diff.
Also, It still happened when I pushed the axel back in and when the wheel is off, I try to get the axel to rotate but it stops every 1/3rd of a rotation or so and I have to wiggle it back and forth before it starts rotating again..
Any help is appreciated!!
