B16 trans with ctr LSD problem?
Just bought a b16 trans with ctr LSD. Is the diff suposse to move side to side?? If you put your hand on one side of the diff and your other hand on the other side you can move it back and forth. Is this normal?!

They may have installed the incorrect bearings on the LSD and/or not have set the preload correctly.
Get it open and check what bearings have been installed and what shim was used. If it was installed using B16 bearings..here is what you will need to fix it:
It will need two offset bearings for ITR/CTR/Late model GSR differentials:
http://shop.synchrotech-transmission...GSR-B-ITRB.htm
or you can also use a Conversion kit to save some $$:
http://shop.synchrotech-transmission...-GSR-BITRC.htm
The difference between a B16 diff bearing and ITR/CTR/Late model GSR diff bearing is a 1mm offset on the center inner diameter where it mounts onto the bearing spigot.
