B16 cable LSD

I have a B16 gearbox with a factory lsd and i was wondering if the lsd will work in a B17 gear box.

I not sure but i think its a y1 from a Japanese crx

If it's a Y1 then no, Y1, S1, J1 all wont work. YS1 is the only that will.

How can i make sure what model it is the sticker on the front of the case is missing.

The YS-1 will have detent bolts (Has a spring and check ball) on the main case. If the detent system is internal to the transmission, then it will be the early cable JDM y-1, s-1, j-1.
