i have a hydro s80 with lsd. i had a co worker at my honda dealership who has been an ase master tech longer than ive been alive check out my internals as soon as i bought this tranny. all was in perfect condition, as i expect.
i have not been able to leave my street since i built this car because...
what happenes is, when i put the car in first gear and try to take off, it pops out as soon as i start to let the clutch out.??
when the car's in the garage (not running) i noticed that if i put it in first gear and release the clutch all the way, when i go to pull it out of first, it takes less resistance to pop into neutral (without touching the clutch) than any of the other gears.
im thinkin about the shifter linkage, this is my first build and when i put on the shifter linkage it was a complete PAIN IN THE ***!! maybe its normal, or not.
motor mounts are brand new avid poly race.
lmk what you guys think,
thanks, doug.

Try raising the front wheels off the ground and see if it pops out of gear. If it does then put it in 1st gear and disconnect the linkage and try again. If it still pops out with the linkage disconnected, the problem is in the transmission.
Some internal transmission problems that can cause this are: worn engagement teeth on the sleeve and gear, detent spring and ball, worn top countershaft bearing, or misaligned friction dampers.
