'00 accord f23a bad tans
Hey guys,
First of all, I'm completely new to Honda's and I'm not a mechanic... I've got an '00 accord se with the f23a and my auto transmission is racing in and out of second gear. I have the funds right now to make something happen, and I want to fix it.
I'm fairly confident I can do the work if I swapped it out. Cost effectiveness in mind:
A. What is my best option here?
Replace?
Rebuild?
B. Where is the best place to buy a used trans?
C. I've read about issues with incompatibility across model years etc.. Any information that may ensure I get the right part would help.
