Are ZC pistons the same as the 88-89 integra pistons?

Yes, they are. I measured them myself.




The Integra piston looks a little different because the valve reliefs were sanded on this particular piston. Part number aside, they are the same casting.

Is that why when you swap to a ZC, DOHC non-vtec, that they recommend 88-89 TEG parts.....I do belive so.

yes..and u shouldnt have clearanced issues, but to be safe, CLAY the motor, because z6 valve location and a1 valve relief locations do not match up, even though i know about about 3 people running this set up with very high lift cams and very high revs without a problem

ya you can use them but i thought they had a diff dome size?

verified they are identical. for the naysayers, you mite be referring to pg6 pistons which fit but are different than pm7 or p29...

ya but its not all integ part you can use a 88 prelude timing belt and a crx water pump 88-89 integ intake manifold there are some many diff combos you can us.its not all 88-89 integ parts.i was off cuz i was thinking pm6 my bad.
