Default z6 y7 starting problem... please help!!

Supp guys here my problem. I put a z6 head on a y7 block in my 2000 ek obd2b I am running the z6 dizzy repined for plug and play z6 cam gear z6 water pump z6 oil pump and strainer with the z6 timing belt and the z6 head gasket and my stock y7 manifold. I timed this car 9 times and it still won't turn over its just a constant crank if I give it gas it starts to putt like its getting to much fuel and not enough air flow the car has great spark. I still have the stock ecu non VTEC but that shouldn't be a problem only when its time for VTEC it will. My boy told me the valves could need to be adjusted the head was redone at a machine shop not my work, bought the head from somebody... Could he be right? Please help 1 day project turned to 3.

I would check the valves if for no other reason other then to eliminate them as the possible problem.

I would also check fuel pressure, could be a problem with the FPR.

Are you sure it sounds like too much fuel and not enough fuel?

I would probably pull the fuel rail and see what kind of spray/pattern the injectors are giving you. 94
