Default Z6 mini-me build-up?

I've finally started working on this project. D16A6 block witha Z6 head. I'll be taking my head to the shop to check for cracks and get a port, polish and valvejob if it's good to go. This is a mild build. Not going to be a racer so I don't want to exceed a high 10:1 c/r. I was looking at installling PM6 pistons but the PM3's look like the the way to go since they're flat top. Just wondering if anyone has used PM3 pistons on a Z6 mini-me and what the results were. I still have some research to do regarding camshaft selection and I'm looking at either Crower or Comp. I would really appreciate some input on that end too. Thanks.

As far as cams go, Comp and Crower offer different formulas. Comp has higher lift cams while Crower has longer duration cams. Comp might be the way to go for you, but they do wear on the rockers because of the steep ramp angle. There are a lot of good cam companies out there, check some of them out.

For what it's worth, I'm fairly happy with my Comp 59300 at 9.5:1.

I've decided to go with the Comp 59300 cam with PM3 pistons...just have to run the numbers to make sure there's going to be no contact. I'll be using a new set of Crower springs and titanium retainers a while back that's collecting dust. Thanks for all the input.
