hey I have a YS1 cable tranny and it grinds in 3 and 4th gear. HOw much do you think it would cost to rebuild the tranny?. Do I even have to rebuild it or should I just replace the synchros? Is that pricey? Bottom line I just want the grinding to stop. what should I do and how much does it cost? Thanks guys

 

I have the synchros for the rebuild if you are interested. . .looking to get back how much i payed for them 200 shipped. . .as far as rebuilding the tranny i would, because there are parts available for that tranny, not like the JDM cable trannys. Also, i have a friend that does tranny work, so the labor is not that expensive, but i am not sure how much a shop charges, i would assume it is a good amount of change. So it basically comes down to how much you want to spend.
