how can you tell the difference between LS and b16 tranny? i heard counting the teeth and what not. How many teeth are on each one? If there is anyother way please let me know thanks.

 

are you talking about the YS1 LSD and non LSD? if so you can see through the tranny where the axles go in on the YS1 LSD and there should be LSD stamped on the case. the non lsd does not have LSD stamped on it and you cant see through the tranny

 

no, he is talking about the difference between the jdm b16a/usdm b17a VTEC transmission and the usdm Integra LS/b18a Non-VTEC transmissions.

teeth-counting or actually running the tranny on an engine are the only ways i know or can think of.
