Default Deleting the use of the IACV?

I picked up a Y8 Manifold that I want to use on my soon to be boosted z6 and it is from an automatic... which has the TB mounted IACV. Can I just jbweld my current iacv onto the manifold so I don't throw a CEL?

What will happen from doing this? Will I have serious issues?

You can drill and tap the manifold to accept the IACV.
