Default Yet another oil filter relocation question!

The previous owner of my car had installed an oil filter relocation kit. The kit he used doesn't use ss lines, but 1/2" rubber hose, and now it seems the hose clamps aren't able to provide a tight enough seal to prevent the oil from leaking out the ends. Has anyone else had an issue with this? I was thinking about removing the screw type clamps and replacing them with the spring type you find often on coolant lines. To me it seems the spring kind would create a more equal force all the way around the hose and stop the slow oil leaks. What are your opinions?

My advice would be to just remove it and go back to the stock spin on.If you still want to use the remote I would replace the lines with some quality lines.Your local speed or race car shop can make some up for you if you don't feel comfortable doing them yourself.

for oil lines, i would get ss lines and fittings, they have some more of a better seal, looks cleaner, and easy to take off
