Default Y8 with y7 intake

Just trying to make sure I didn't cause the problem. So I got a d16y8 swap and put my y7 intake on it so I didn't have to change air box and wires. The intakes look identical minus where the throttle body is. I don't see there being an issue but maybe one of know for sure.

You swapped parts (namely the ECU) to run a VTEC motor but didn't want to change the handful of lines to run the considerably better y8 intake?
