Default Y8 head on Z6 block!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone knew if you could put the Y8 head on a Z6 block. If so could someone give me the torque specs on the head bolts and does anyone know or have a diagram of how to line the head up with the block , so that they are in the correct timing order. If you could email me with the info that would be great.

Thanks

this swap is possible, I just put a Y8 head on a D15b7. For the timing just be sure that u use the TDC mark and the head bolt torque you can get from a helms, I used 53 ft/lb. as far as the exact specifications for your swap, I cant help you there.... do a couple searches and you should find some info

the Y8 head will give higher compression 11:1, so if you plan on going turbo then I'd stick with Z6 head.
