Default WTF - Gap between engine block and tranny - *pics*





That doesn't look normal, but I must admit my experience under cars is limited to oil changes. This is my sister's POS 96 LX, haven't been under this thing since last year. Noticed this today...is that normal? Is she screwed?

That doesn't really look normal... but I believe it is, i have a small hole at the bottom of mine there, presumabley to help dust and debree from the clutch drop out?

that gap is normal, that plate u see is the dust plate that prevetns stuff from getting into the clutch and flywheel

I agree it looks like its pushed in, there doesn't appear to be a gap anywhere else.
I would like to see a picture of the top front of the engine tranny to confirm

Looks bent to me too. Almost looks like a weld was pulled apart.
