My personal opinion is that aftermarket bulbs suck. Now I just get the Wal-Mart superblues. LOL I have used many aftermarket bulbs from Xenon and some other brands, and none of them lasted longer than 6 months. Also, my last set of Xenon's got so hot that they melted the plastic piece that attaches to the back of the headlight. So.....$100 later at Honda I had them replaced and rewired. My friend blew several sets of PIAS in a matter of a year or two. He is back to stock bulbs as well.

I've got some PIAA H4 SUPER PLASMA BULBS $80 a set, and those are the nicest lights i've seen out, sittin right next to a 01 AMG E-55, you can't tell the difference, but I have to replace them every 18-22k miles

But... these lights are the best looking lights i've seen yet

Man you guys sure have some bad luck with your bulbs. I got a set of farenheight hyperwhites for my eg and Ive had them in my car for about 3 yrs. They only cost me 25 bucks and they are bright as hell, really white and only a slight bluish tint to them when you are lookin into them. I also have a set of PIAA superwhites in my pathfinder and they have been in there for 2 yrs. I just cant figure out why you guys are blowing your bulbs so quickly. By the way when I install my bulbs I alway put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and clean the bulb off really well and then install them. Ive never had a problem with any headlights except when I got a set of projectors for my eg and the bulbs blew out in three days. I replaced them and 2 days later they both took a dump again. I returned the projectors and put my stock lights back in and IMO they look better anyways
