Default Would it be "smart" to cut this part?

Well as some of you saw in my other post ( https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=713000) about my accident, I'm replacing my radiator support. However, before it gets here, I would like to cut this part of the radiator support shown below to allow me to remove the radiator and everything else behind it. Would it be ok to hack saw this part of the radiator support off where the green lines are?Since I'm replacing it, I don't see why not, but though I would double check. Thanks.

thats your radiator support. yes you can cut that but then you're also going to have to replace it. there may be some welding involved also.

Jesus did you see the thing he has to replace it anyways. It is safe to cut it and take everything you need to off. just make sure everything is going to line up before you install the new on e

most of thoes parts are bolted in. check to see if that is bolted to the car before you cut.
