ok so i was driving and everything was fine i pulled up to the red light went to put it back in gear to go and it just wouldnt go in gear the clutch pedal is still there feels fine just when i go to put it in to gear its like there is no gears there non of the gears are there it moves like its there but no gears !?!?! maybe someone could shed some light the car is a 94 integra with a b18b1(ls) and trans is same cars pretty stock its my daily , please help if u can thanks !!

 

anyone ? before i pull the motor and pull the trans off and see whats going on ?

If the pedal feels good, id guess something happened with your clutch. Youll probably have to pull the trans and take a look inside.

 

iam thinkin the samething^^^ , all the fluids are good the clutch *** presure just wont go into gear like wont move over to the right towards rev or nothing just kind of moves forward and back just no gears

check shift linkage bolt.

 

there all tight its some inside just want to know if anyone has any idea whats goin on inside lol

 

Check the bushing for the counter bar. If you are saying the shifter moves through all the gates, but won't actually engage a gear, check the bushing on the second bar. With the car off, get under it and have someone put it into first gear. Watch for excessive movement in the stabilizing linkage. Also give the shifter linkage an extra push to try to engage the gear. Leave it like that, put the car on the ground and see if the gear engaged. If this doesn't work, plan on pulling the tranny. Good luck!

Miller, will the shifter go into gear without power, (the car off, clutch not pushed in) Can you rock the car and get it into or out of gear?

 

Also, I still don't understand if you are able to get the shifter into the normal positions for the gears. Are there any abnormal noises when trying to engage a gear?

 

foto ^^ it no either with or without power its wierd as **** and cant rock it either into gear like theres no gears like the mexicans came up and took all my gears out my trans idk

 

not fast ^^ the shift moves to where the gear is just no gear act its like gone like almost like the shift fork is in the trans
