Default wiring questions

i have an obd1 civic and im swapping in a b16..............right now im trying to save some money by using parts i already have

with that said

i have an obd2 alternator and i understand the alternator for obd1 has a green plug and the obd2 has a brown one...........i was told i can get a obd2 harness clip, solder it onto my obd1 harness and my alternator should plug in and work after that....is this true if so can someone show me a "how-to" link?

also

i have an obd2 gsr dizzy laying around and i dont have the funds for an obd1 dizzy at the moment..........is it possible to solder the clips so it is plug and play? if so can someone post the how to link

THANKS!

OBD1 and OBD2 distributors are interchangable.

Pre-OBD(OBD0) distributors are not interchangable with OBD1/2 distributors.
