Default wiring harness info needed

i was wondering if the B18B1 harness is the same as the DX harness of a civic they look and seem totally similar because i did a swap in my friends civic 94 coupe, and i took off the dx harness and put on the harness that he said was origionally on this motor in another civic hb and when i plugged everything up it had a big square plug in the back that did not plug into anything and look olmost like the tranny plug but did not fit and we had a crap loud of codes pull up and everytime i replace or fix or do anything to makes the code go away a new code comes up, and there wasa wire cut to hook up a o2 sensor and it is a single wire o2 which to me should be a 4 wire 02 so i was wondering should i take out that harness and put in the DX and change the injector plugs so the teg injectors so it will fit. it has a P75 ecu and i do not believe this ecu requires a injector box but it is throwing all these codes, which are 14,41,10,8. 14 is iacv, 10 is intake temp sensor, 41 o2, and 8 is TDC. so please tell me if the DX will do me better then this mystery harness.
ps. i know the B18B1 is obd2 but still the plugs are still the same i just am not sure if the pin lay out is the same so any info would be great.

the harness will be different....the engine and vehicle harnesses between certain cars will not fit together as youre describing. Also the pin configuration may differ slightly and gives reason for the codes that you cant get cleared.

Even using the same vehicle/engine harness you will sometimes have to reconfigure the pins at the ecu (5-4 wire O2 sensor, 3-2 wire IACV etc) Skipping this step will lead to code problems as well. Hope this helped
