Default Wiring in A/C to chase bays harness?

I've got a 98 dx with a b16 swap and a chase bays harness. Is there a way to wire in the A/C without just replacing with a stock harness? Is there already a write up on this, who knows I might just suck at searching... It's hot as hell in Arkansas and the extra power isn't worth it....

Will a non b16 harness have the same connections and same general layout? And are sub assemblies common for people with aftermarket wiring harnesses

the AC system will generally be pretty much the same, not much changes in how it works, you need a good manual with a good wiring diagram, the basic stuff is the same, but the computer will have inputs to let it know the AC is running, if you dont understand wiring I wouldnt try this though, get some help, most of your AC wiring is body wiring anyway, the compressor clutch is going to be on the swapped engine, but they all work the same,

MDUNN250,

Maybe this will help you out, A15 is AC Clutch, B5 is AC Switch. If you need anything else feel free to contact me directly at Sales@ChaseBays.com or you can give me a call at (205) 623-2188 Ext:1.

Thanks!

the question is, did he leave all the mechanical parts in the car? did the compressor get hooked up during the swap, is there any refrigerant in the system?

Sorry, it's been a while, I just got home from my deployment. Good news I found a complete Ac setup for 200, well all the hardware. I just swapped the engine before my deployment and made sure everything was left on the frame. Thanks Chase Bays! Now all I need is a wiring diagram! I've got a good friend who is an aircraft electrician so ill give him a holler for help, I'll keep y'all posted!

Ok so the guy that's supposed to be selling me the ac has been flaking out on me all week, I'm about to give up on him and find another. But I've kept myself busy removing tint, pin stripes, installing a stereo, and installing and adjusting new suspension... Hope I can get this done soon, I gotta get new cv axels too... It never ends...

Finally got all the stuff and the compressor engine bracket, tensioner mount bolt was broken off in the hole... So now I have a friend hooking me up with the removal... Hopefully this weekend it will be blowing cold!
